About the Position
Do you have a passion for excellent customer service, leadership, and collaboration around library services? If you said yes, this exciting new opportunity to serve the residents of Maricopa County could be for you! The Library Services Manager position focuses on managing Maricopa County Library District’s Electronic Resources.
The Electronic Resources Manager is responsible for maintaining and facilitating access to dozens of essential digital databases and applications through which customers access library material. Major projects include evaluating the collection for usage, analyzing new products for possible addition to the collection, collecting and sharing data and statistics, liaising with District staff to provide training and support, and coordinating the promotion of the collection. The Electronic Resources Manager collaborates with County and State library leaders to support regional eResource communities.

We Require
- Three years of library experience
- One year of supervisor experience
- Master’s degree in library science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited school

Job Contributions
- Maintain access to high quality electronic resources
- Track, evaluate, and recommend online resources, new vendors, products, or changes to existing services
- Collect and organize usage statistics and user feedback
- Collaborate with District staff to identify training gaps, create training resources, and evaluate effectiveness of training
- Collaborate with District Communications Staff to create and utilize a marketing plan for library electronic resources
- Provide direct customer support for troubleshooting technical errors with District products.
- Collaborate with the regional eResource community to identify consistent best practices and support digital usage for all residents of Maricopa County
