The Supervisory Librarian develops, arranges, implements, presents and evaluates library programs for adults and families. Responsibilities include performing outreach to the community, community organizations, and schools. In addition, duties involve promoting Library programs and services at public forums and meetings.
The results of this recruitment may be used to fill one (1) vacancy in the Library department and other vacancies that may occur during the life of the eligible list.
Graduation from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) with a Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent and three (3) years paid experience performing professional library work, one (1) year of which included supervision
