Provide day-to-day leadership and management for the assigned campus.
Recruit, mentor, and schedule library staff (i.e. work-study, temporary, and/or part-time employees).
Serve as the campus’ Reference and Circulation Librarian, assisting users with electronic and print materials.
Perform specialized task involved in acquisition, cataloging, referencing and circulation of library materials (including inter-library loan processing).
Collaborate with librarians and faculty for collection development and weeding.
Coordinate programs and activities to increase and promote the college library services.
Provide information literacy instruction for classes and students, as requested.
Work well in a culturally diverse environment with the ability to handle all situations with tact and diplomacy.
Assist users with technical issues (copiers/printers, computers, laptops, etc.).
Repair books and other library materials to prolong use as needed.
Travel occasionally between multiple campuses and locations.
Perform related work as required.
Three Years of Library Experience
Demonstrated ability to use word processing, spreadsheet applications, email and calendar applications
Demonstrated knowledge of library services
Demonstrated superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
