Major Duties, Responsibilities
Coordinates programming and outreach services with Library District administrative, affiliate, and branch staff including program design, creation, delivery, and assessment. (60%)
Develops strategies to implement outreach services in conjunction with state and local partners. Works closely with community organizations to ensure an effective strategy for offering library services and programming to the public. (25%)
Establishes, reviews and evaluates project goals; analyzes and monitors project expenditures, data, and deliverables. Prepares grant reports in accordance with grantor requirements when necessary. (10%)
Performs other job related duties as assigned. (5%)

Master's in Library Science or Library and Information Science
An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year per year basis.
Three years' experience providing and/or managing library programming services.

Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the county for the purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, making reports, or soliciting cooperation.
Basic Windows skills and MS Office Suite.
