Description

The Library Board of Examiners reviews and certifies qualifications of persons desiring to become county librarians.

Authorized by ARS §11-906

Membership

The board of library examiners shall consist of the director of the Arizona state library, archives and public records, who shall be ex officio chairman, the librarian of the University of Arizona, the librarian of the Phoenix Public Library and two county librarians appointed by the director of the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records.

Additional Information

The county librarian members shall serve one year terms, and the director shall appoint the county librarian members on a rotating basis to represent each county free library.
