Everyone needs inspiration and ideas for inexpensive library programs. Learn tips and ideas centered around the Collaborative Summer Library Program theme Libraries Rock! as well as STEAM related activities.
Participants will be able to:
- Incorporate ideas from the Collaborative Summer Library Program and additional programming ideas using puppets, props, movement, music, sign language and other activities.
- Explore simple, inexpensive and easy to implement STEAM activities for preschool, elementary ages and teen programs.
- Locate and use resources including books, websites and videos.
About the Presenter:
Kim Lehman is a well-known educator, best known for her dynamic, idea packed workshops featuring easy to implement activities. She has presented workshops in Kansas, Texas and now Arizona. Over the years, Kim has worked with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission presenting workshops and webinars, producing forty videos with ideas for the summer reading program and storytimes.
